GO VOTE!!!

Heeeyy!

I know that it has been a while and I actually have a post in my draft that I had planned on releasing next, but as I stand in this voting line, I would be remiss if I didn’t write anything about today.

Usually when I come to vote, it’s an in-and-out situation. The longest amount of time that I probably have had to wait was 20 minutes, but pulling in the parking lot today at 7:23 am to see the parking lot full and a long line made my heart warm!

I am so excited to see people getting out and voting! It’s so beautiful to see! All of the protests, conversations, and demonstrations during the past several months would have been in vain if people did not come out to vote and make a real change!

I don’t know what the results will be for today, but I know that if you don’t exercise your right to vote, like what the heck are you really doing?!

I vote because of all of the countless number of people who came before me and fought for the right to vote. I vote because of the difference it can make. I vote because I know if I don’t and complain, I’m super whack!

Whatever your reasons might be, make sure you do what needs to be done and GO VOTE, PERIOD!!
